my interpretation of the video is that you have to die in order to be able to live. Basically you cannot live a fulfilling life until you realize your own fragility and inevitable death, only then can you be who you're meant to be.

I agree with simple0981; I also think that you have to loose someone important to you to loose a certain innocence and naivety; to loose faith in urself and the world.
