See the review of the dark knight by clicking the link above. Please get the word out, smaller non partner channels are being phased out of the youtube searches. Help share this video to let people know that youtube will most likely phase the independent reviews on youtube out by heavily promoting their partner videos along with the clicking the button to view only partner videos and thus making the smaller independent channels fade out of sight. This will most likely end the chance of someone new getting ay real visibility and a chance to someday become a partner themselves.

I just want to review movies, just like you and others. That's all I'm doing. I'm not making any money nor are the majority of other film and game reviewers so why not phase out the reviewers who are profiting from "copyright infringement"? This whole partner deal is a damn shame because if it weren't for us independent filmmakers and reviewers, Youtube would simply just be another news and movie clip channel that would barely be known to anyone on the Web.

Our channel (E-asylum TV) was one of those channels that had exclusive celebrity interviews and reviews and we promoted the movie studios' upcoming flicks and what happened? Just because our interviews with the cast of Fantastic Four had clips of the movie, we got accused of copyright infringement when in fact it was the studios themselves that gave us the material to include in our segments... and we had over 1000 clips.... yeah, YouTube sucks!

Ever since the corporations took over this site, you have to wade pretty deep to find reviews on anything from independent sources. I have a video game review that uses footage of the actual game throughout it, and guess what? I filmed it myself. Are they going to take it down just because my personal video footage uses copyrighted material as its focus? Youtube is catering to the big boys with money. Let's just start calling it THEMtube.

When I did my dark knight review, I used the trailer. At first it was taken off, but I had a chance to voice my thoughts. I said I only used the trailer and talked about the film in a good way and to this day it's still online. However when I used a small family guy clip, my older profile was taken off, of course then I was only doing edited videos, but still, I don't think it's right.
