Long Cool Woman is approaching 1.000.000 of visits here in you tube. Also, if we add the visits of all the The Hollies songs, they reach a number that is overcome only by Beatles and Stones, equalling The Who. Nevertheless, I do not see that the specializing magazines have perceived this real phenomenon! It is incredible!!!

The sound of this record is a signature British sound as far as production is concerned. I recall as a kid in my early teens being blown away by just how different this sounded from anything that I had heard that came out of the US previously. The guitar sound alone is completely unique. I still love to listen to this record. Just beautiful.

Hollies fans appreciate the musical quality...skilled guitars and drums, vocal quality and harmonies. Perhaps music is less important than buzz to the media. Until YouTube I always felt like an outsider for being a Holies fan. I like the Beatles, Stones and Who as well but their singing doesn't top the Hollies.
