Hell yeah.......Marshall PLexi modded and boosted to the hill and Charvel! MAn the 80s were full of slingers, Lynch, Gilbert, Vai, EVH, Rhodes, it just goes on.
Met Warren at NAMM 2007 and he is just too cool, you would never know he was the icon that he is.

The "blonde guy" is the one Warren was watching at his 9th grade graduation..Warren
felt that Robbin was already a Guitar God and all he could think about is how he wanted to play like that.Robbin just wanted to share in the solo duties and liked it most when he and Warren could play double solo like on "I Want A Woman". Robbin incidentally cowrote that also.

I respect DeMartini's riff-writing abilities, but this was one of the most unispiring, unimaginative, unmelodic, meaningless public masturbation we didn't have to be exposed to.
Goes to show you how so very few truly understood the concept of a "guitar solo" within a song back in the 80s. I'm sure if he looked at this video some 20 years later, he'd just turn away and shake his head in embarrassment...

Back in the 80's we loved solo spots. I didn't think it was that bad. Not nearly as tired/boring as seeing EVH play the same "solo" for the past 30 years. Much better than any drum or bass solo too.
Maybe Pearcy had to take a leak at that time.

Warren Rules! I saw 3 shows during this tour and loved the instrumental solo. This seemed a little shorter than the ones I saw. Always sounds better live than on youtube.

this wasnt a tragedy, it was supposed to be there, i have seen it in bootlegs from different citys (longer and cooler, just warren and bobby trippy as hell) warren adds parts and the band kinda changes the arrangements to follow him, in lots of songs; like in floyd when its just gilmore and keyboard.
Warren was my favorite when I was a kid, learning guitar, saw em many times (when he was in whitesnake too) always 90000 times better live............

You haters out there seriously need to take a laxative.
  Warren and the band are having fun here, rock bands virtually always had guitar solos spots and played around in concert back then, it was fun.  Much better than some tightly choreographed "pop" show with lip synchers and bland studio musicians or alterna-wimps that don't even have enough talent
to play anything beyond a 3 minutes song....

I agree w/ 400SA that solo was AWSOME!! That's what made live concerts worth going to!! most bands didn't syncapate or improvise live like that. THAT!!my friends is what separated the real rockers from the bubble gum posers!!!...(et al Poison)

No, that was Round and Round but I spoke to this Ratt fan who he said he's seen every live video there is of Ratt (including the Detonator tour) and he did a perfectly fine job on the "Detonator tour" performances of the song.

Randy was a good player, but I think Warren was alot different. You can't reall compare them since warrens style was a lot more blues influenced than Randy's.
