I know exactly what you mean, it was really windy one day, and I was coming in to land, and twice I bounced on the right main landing gear, and it seemed fine!!! Both times it just bounced a bit then came down on both, but the gear can take a lot of force.

If those were all ... ( 10 months ago by glueflyer)
If those were all soft field, there should have been more back pressure on the yoke at taxi to the centerline and landing with the nose wheel up for awhile then slowly down.
But... any landing where you can reuse the aircraft is a great landing.

there is no limitation you could just learn from groundschool and have his pilots licence flight be his first flight. but i don't think that woud be a very could way to learn, you need some hand on experience as well, prior to your PPL

I asked my instructor the other week but I have forgotten what he said. I think he said it would fly for about 4 hours I think. Either 4 or 2. I think he said it uses about 6 gallons per hour, so I think it was 12 Gallons. I will definately check on my next lesson, but that will be in some time because of the bad weather in the UK!

The 152 has 24.5 US gallons usable. It burns about 6 gallons/hour so about 4 hours. That doesn't include the FAA required reserves (30 minutes during the day and 45 at night).
I'm quoting from ... ( 9 months ago by teenflon5)
I'm quoting from the AFE Air law text book, "An Applicant for a JAR PPL must have completed at least 45 hours of flight time" You must fly at least 25 hours dual, 10 hours supervised solo flight, You must also undertake at least five hours of solo cross country, one with a minimum of 1500nm and 2 stops.

That third short ... ( 3 months ago by helobelow)
That third short field take off would nothave cleared a fifty ft obstacle had it been at the RWY's end. Dont retract flaps so quickly because the aircraft will fall as on the first and third takeoff.
