| There isnt anything exactly in the USA Hockey rulebook about this but i'm just telling you how i would have called it. In my view, he was prohibiting Brodeur from making a save, had a shot come through, There is a BIG diffrence between screening a goalie by standing there looking to tip a shot in and Avery doing this, plus he was a danger to himself, say a shot would have gone off target and blasted him in the back of the neck. then what?? |

| you guys need to get over it. it was a smart play. he never touched brodeur. brodeur took his mind off the puck. (when he shoved him) and in the end he got a goal. kudo's to avery and making the new NHL that much better. |
